Youth Ministry
Help provide a safe, nurturing, learning and sharing environment for children during the Sunday School hour, Vacation Bible School and age appropriate special events.
Lutheridge
Lutheridge Camp and Conference Center is located just South of Asheville, North Carolina, on 160 acres. Programs are provided year-round for children, youth, adults, and families. In addition to providing programs, groups also come to Lutheridge to plan their own meeting or retreat. The property includes a small lake, hiking trails, group interaction course, swimming pool, challenge tower, and more!
Vacation Bible School
Our Christian Education Leaders sponsor a Vacation Bible School annually for children age 3 through 5th grade, in June or July. Often, an Adult Class is also available. VBS is usually held for 2-3 evenings, with a meal served at the beginning, followed by class study, music, art, and recreation. The final evening is usually a church ice cream social, where the children share what they have learned during the week and to celebrate their accomplishments.
Fall Festival
A Fall Festival is held annually, around Halloween. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in costumes. Children and adults enjoy a casual dinner together, take a hay ride, play games and end the evening with Trunk or Treat.
