Confirmation
Confirmation: “Confirmation ministry is a pastoral and educational ministry of the church that helps the baptized through Word and Sacrament to identify more deeply with the Christian community and participate more fully in its mission.”
Classes begin as early as 6th grade, but often are also attended by adults to affirm their baptism and serve as a catalyst for lifelong faith formation. These classes are often held with other ELCA Lutheran churches. Contact the pastor for more information.
Become a Member
We always welcome new membership. If you have not been baptized, we welcome you to learn about the faith and consider baptism. Those, having already been baptized in any Christian setting, may join by Affirmation of Faith.
Phone Tree / Prayer Line Request
Our church sends out messages regarding needs of church members (illness, hospitalizations, special prayer requests) and reminders of upcoming events, by telephone. To get something sent out on our telephone tree/prayer line, please contact Kim Whitley at 704-984-3406. To have someone’s name added to the prayer list in the bulletin or to have a message posted on our church Facebook page, please contact Elizabeth Efird at 704-322-9607.
